The Royal Thai Embassy held a ceremony in honor of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit in the reign of King Rama IX’s 87th birthday anniversary on 12 August 2019 at the function hall of the Royal Thai Embassy. H.E. Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag presided over the ceremony with officials of the Royal Thai Embassy and their spouses, as well as the Thai citizens living in Japan, in total around 150 people in this ceremony.
On 10 August 2019, Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag welcomed Dr. Sukhum Karnchanapimai, Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Public Health, Dr. Supakit Sirilak, Deputy Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Public Health and other delegations who visited to Japan to discuss about the policy and exchange views about Health care system at the Ministry of Health Labour and Welfare, visit to National Center for global Health and Medicine for advanced medical care and take a lecture on long term care and community medicine of Kunitachi city in Tokyo at the nursing home for the elderly.
On 8 August 2019, Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag and Madame together with Mr. Attakarn Wongchanamas, Consul-General of the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Fukuoka made the floral contribution at the Nagasaki Hypocenter.
On 7 August 2019, six students from Tokai University who attended a special course in the summer study visit the Embassy. On this occasion, Ms. Somjai Klaisuban, Minister Counsellor (Education), Mr. Sarig Ubolbarn, Minister Counsellor (Commerce)
On 7 August 2019, Mrs. Dheerangkun Uchino, First Secretary, was the representative of the Royal Thai Embassy to attend the award giving ceremony at the 20th high school students International Art Festival Project of the International Foundation for Arts and Culture-IFAC and give the honorary certificates and medals to Mr. Pisawat Wannaphu,
On 5 August 2019, Mr. Sarawut Benjakul, Secretary – General of Office of the Judiciary and Chairman, the Transaction Committee of the Anti-Money Laundering Office together with the delegation paid a courtesy call on Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag. On this occasion, they listened to the lecture about the current situation of the transnational crimes as well as the crimes of Thai people living in Japan.
On 5 August 2019, 13 students in elementary school grade 4-6 and junior high school from the Embassy Journey Program of Suginami ward, together with project officials visited the Embassy by having Mrs. Dheerangkun Uchino, First Secretary, welcomed them.
On 1 August 2019, Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag held a dinner in honor of the Mr. Yoshinobu Nisaka, Wakayama Governor and his delegation at the Thai Residence together with Team Thailand.
On 26 July 2019, H.E. Mr. Yoshitaka Akimoto, Grand Master of the Ceremonies, Imperial Household Agency of Japan, delivered a congratulatory message from His Majesty The Emperor of Japan to His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Bodindradebayavarangkun on the occasion of His Majesty’s 67th birthday at the Thai Residence in Tokyo. Mr. Akimoto was welcomed by Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag and Madam, the military attachés, diplomats of the Royal Thai Embassy and their spouses.
On 24 July 2019, Mr. Osamu Masuko, Chairman of the Board, Representative Executive Officer of Mitsubishi Motors Corporation, paid a courtesy call on Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag to inform about his upcoming trip to Thailand to pay a courtesy call on the Deputy Prime Minister Somkid Jatusripitak on 1 August 2019.
