MD Director of Institute of Geriatric Medicine paid a courtesy call on the Ambassador

On 22 May 2019, Mr. Sakarn Bunnag, MD Director of Institute of Geriatric Medicine and delegation from Department of Medical Services paid a courtesy call on the Ambassador to discuss about elderly health service system and elderly health insurance in Japan. In addition, the Ambassador also gave a briefing on Thailand- Japan Relation in every aspects to the delegation.

Royal Thai Embassy held the 20thThai Festival in Tokyo

Royal Thai Embassy, Tokyo held the 20th Thai Festival in Tokyo at the Yoyogi Park on the 11 and 12 May, 2019 with the cooperation of organizations from Thailand and Japan. In the Festival, H.E. Mr. Don Pramudwinai, Minister of Foreign Affairs presided over the opening ceremony, by the invitation of H.E. Mr. Bansarn Bunnag, Ambassador, with guests of honor from Japan including H.E. Mr. Mitsuhiro Miyakoshi, Minister of the Cabinet Office. H.E. Mr. Yoshihiro Seki, State Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry and H.E. Mr. Norikatsu Suzuki Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs.

President of Tokyo SME Support Center paid a courtesy call on the Ambassador

On 8 May 2019, Mr. Yoshiyuki Fukuda, President of Tokyo SME Support Center and executives paid a courtesy call on Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag to express appreciation to the Ambassador and the Royal Thai Embassy for facilitating visa procedure and giving advice to their staff assigned to be stationed at their branch office in Bangkok.

On 6 May 2019, H.E. Mr. Bansarn Bunnag, Ambassador of Thailand to Japan, presided over the well-wishing ceremony on the occasion of the Coronation of King Rama X. The ceremony was held concurrently with the ceremony in Thailand

The Royal Thai Embassy in Tokyo organized ceremony and activities on the auspicious occasion of the Coronation of His Majesty King Rama X

On 4 May 2019, Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag presided over the ceremony on the auspicious occasion of the Coronation of King Rama X at the Royal Thai Embassy in Tokyo. The ceremony was attended by Heads of Offices of Team Thailand in Japan, Thai Government officials and their families, local staff as well as Thai people in Japan, totally around 200 people.

The Royal Thai Embassy organized the mobile consular services at Kashiwasaki city, Niigata Prefecture

On 20 April 2019, the Royal Thai Embassy organized the mobile consular services at the International Community in Kashiwasaki city, Niigata Prefecture. The Embassy provided services regarding passports, family registration, family affairs, legalization. In addition, the Thai volunteers group (TNJ) also participated in this event and gave an advice on how to live in Japan to the Thai people living there.
