On 25 November 2020, Mr. KOIZUMI Takashi, Chairperson of Hiroshima Peace Culture Foundation, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Singtong Lapisatepun, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to Japan. Mr. KOIZUMI presented to the Ambassador about the Mayors for Peace organisation and its activities.
On 26 November 2020, Mr. NAGAISHI Yasuaki, Managing Director and Secretary General of the Organization for Industrial, Spiritual and Cultural Advancement (OISCA), paid a courtesy call on Ambassador Singtong Lapisatepun, and informed the Ambassador on OISCA’s development activities in Thailand.
On 19 November 2020, Ambassador Singtong Lapisatepun and spouse, Mrs. Porndee Lapisatepun, welcomed H.E. U Soe Han, Ambassador of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to Japan, and his spouse, Daw Lei Lei War, to the Ambassador's Residence during the courtesy call paid by the Myanmar Ambassador upon assumption of his duty.
On 19 November 2020, Ambassador Singtong Lapisatepun, together with Team Thailand, paid a study visit to the National Cancer Center Japan (NCC) by the invitation from Dr. NAKAGAMA Hitoshi, President of the NCC. The NCC management team gave a brief lecture on its research
On 13 November 2020, H.E. Ambassador Singtong Lapisatepun, together with Mr. Kittiwat Patchimnan, Minister (Commercial Affairs) and Mr. Seksan Sripraiwan, Director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand, Tokyo Office, presented a round-trip ticket to Thailand to Mr. TOMOYOSHI Kota, the winner of the “Thai Select Best Photo Campaign” photo contest. The winning photo was taken at the Thai restaurant named Soi Gapao, in Kanagawa.
On 10 November 2020, H.E. Ambassador Singtong Lapisatepun together with Ms. Prangtip Kanchanahattakij, Minister, and Ms. Kanakporn Chotipal, Minister (Economic and Investment), visited the MI-Garden GINZA by Mitsubishi Motors and were welcomed by Mr. YATABE Yoichiro, Representative Executive Officer (Co-COO) in charge of ASEAN and Oceania.
On November 9, 2020, Mrs. Porndee Lapisatepun, spouse of the Ambassador of Thailand to Japan, hosted the Small Interest Group (SIG) Leader Get Together meeting under the umbrella of the Asia-Pacific Ladies Friendship Society (ALFS) at the Embassy’s Hall. H.E. Mr. Singtong Lapisatepun, Ambassador of Thailand, took this opportunity to give a welcoming remark to the SIG representatives.
On 6 November 2020, the Royal Thai Embassy in Tokyo and the Office of Industrial Affairs in Tokyo, in collaboration with Japan-Thailand Economic Cooperation Society (JTECS) and Professor Dr. SUKEGAWA Seiya from Kokushikan University held a webinar conference on "EEC Policy and Thailand 4.0 after the Cabinet Reshuffle". There were more than 350 people attended.
