Students from Kanda Institute of Foreign Languages visited the embassy

On 13 November 2019, 20 students of the first-year majoring in Thai language at the Kanda Institute of Foreign Languages visited the Embassy. They listened to the overall briefing of the Thailand – Japan relations before going to Thailand for exchange program at the university in Thailand. On this occasion, they had opportunity to pay a courtesy call on Ambassador Singtong Lapisatepun as well.

On 10 November 2019, Mr.Saichon Akanitvong, Minister Counsellor (Labour) was the representative of the Ambassador to attend the Loy Kratong at Mielparque Hiroshima Hotel which was held by Hiroshima - Thailand

Embassy members attended the annual parade in Kawagoe, Saitama Prefecture

On 10 November 2019, Ms. Pishayasinee Mulapruk, Counsellor and Mr. Sakon Wanasethi, First Secretary (Agriculture) attend the 15th annual parade in Kawagoe which was participated by Thai community in Saitama to raise awareness of Thailand. This event was participated by Thai community for 11 years. Besides Thai community, there were also others communities from Korea, the Philippines joining this event.

Office of the Public Sector Development Commission visited the embassy

On 6 November 2019, Ambassador Singtong Lapitsatepun welcomed the delegation of Office of the Public Sector Development Commission (OPDC) who attended “the public sector development for digital generation planning program batch 1”

The Committee of the Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (Public Organization) paid a courtesy call on the Ambassador

On 5 November 2019, the Committee of the Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (Public Organization)(NEDA) led by Ms. Chularat Suteethorn, Chairman of the Board paid a courtesy call on Ambassador Singtong Lapisatepun. On 5 November 2019, H.E. Mr. Singtong Lapisatepun, Ambassador-designate of the Kingdom of Thailand to Japan, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Takeo Akiba, Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, upon his assumption of duty as Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to Japan. In this occasion, they also agreed to enhance the already close ties between the two countries to be even closer.
