The Ambassador attended a reception celebrating the 90th anniversary of the establishment of Kinokuniya

On 18 May 2016, H.E. Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag attended a reception, which was held to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the establishment of Kinokuniya Co., Ltd. The opening remarks were given by Mr. Masashi Takai, President and CEO of Kinokuniya. There were a lot of distinguished guests participating in this event.

The Royal Thai Embassy held a Jazz Night at the Royal Thai Embassy

On 16 May 2016, the Royal Thai Embassy held a “Jazz Night at the Royal Thai Embassy” in the hall of the Royal Thai Embassy. There were a lot of distinguished guests such as ambassadors to Japan, high ranking officials of  the Japanese government and other company  and organization's officials  participating in this event. Thailand Cultural Event 2017 for Asia Pacific Ladies Friendship Society (ALFS)

On 15 May 2017, H.E. Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag and Madam Yupadee Bunnag presided over the Thailand Cultural Event 2017 for the Asia Pacific Ladies Friendship Society (ALFS) at the hall of the Royal Thai Embassy. There were about 100 members participating.

The Ambassador attended the founding ceremony of the MinebeaMitsumiCo., Ltd.

On 20 April 2017, H.E. Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag attended the founding ceremony ofthe MinebeaMitsumi Co., Ltd. The company is a merger of Minebea Co., Ltd. and Mitsumi Co., Ltd. The ceremony was held at the Imperial Hotel, Tokyo and the invitation was extended by Mr. Yoshihisa Kainuma, President and CEO of the company. More than 1,000 attendees joined the event.
The merger is aimed at increasing the efficiency of the business as a combined endeavor. Minebea specialized in the manufacture ofprecision mechanical parts, while Mitsumi specialized in electronic parts.

The delegation of the Southern Border Provinces Administrative Center visited the Embassy

On 18 April 2017, the delegation of the Southern Border Provinces Administrative Center led by Mr. PrasitChumueng, Vice Secretary-General of the Southern Border Provinces Administrative Center, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag at the
Royal Thai Embassy in Tokyo to discuss their current activities and cooperation between the Royal Thai Embassy and the Southern Border Provinces Administrative Center.

The president of the Japan Association of Thailand paid a courtesy call on the Ambassador

On 18 April 2017, Mr. Atsushi Shimada, the president of the Japan Association of Thailand paid a courtesy call on H.E. Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag at the Royal Thai Embassy in Tokyo in order to introduce himself and explain the activities of the Japan Association of Thailand. Both sides agreed to cooperate and to hold events

Vice Permanent-Secretary attended the 1st International Economic Forum on Asia

On 14 April 2017, Mr. Thanee Thongbhakdhi, Vice Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs attended a seminar about “The Challenge of Sustainable Cities: Building inclusive urban infrastructure to withstand disaster risks” at the 1st International Economic Forum on Asia held in Tokyo, Japan. The invitation was extended by the OECD Development Center (DEV).

An Officer of the Royal Thai Army, who received a scholarship from the Japan Foundation paid a courtesy call on the Ambassador

The Ambassador attended the “Lala Love Fashion Show”

On 20 March 2017, H.E. Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag attended the “Lala Love Fashion Show” which is one program of the Tokyo Fashion Week at Shibuya Hikarie Hall B. This fashion show presented the local “Pha Khao Ma” through international dress which was designed by Ms. Linda Charoenlab, Thai famous designer.
