The Royal Thai Embassy participated in the ACT Golf Tournament 2017

On 5 November 2017, H.E. Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag and representative golf players from the Royal Thai Embassy, participated in the ACT Golf Tournament 2017. The event was held by the Royal Embassy of Cambodia, together with the International Sports Promotion Society (ISPS) at Toyosato Golf Club, Tsukuba City, Ibaraki Prefecture. Approximately 80 persons participated in this event.

Luncheon meeting of the Ambassadors of ASEAN countries and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan

On 1 November 2017, H.E. Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag, together with Team Thailand officials visited Okinawa in order to pay a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Takeshi Onaga, Governor of Okinawa Prefecture, Mr. Mikiko Shiroma, Mayor of Naha City and Mr. Denijiro Ishimine, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce in Naha.

Asia Pacific Ladies Friendship Society (ALFS) Annual Charity Golf Tournament 2017

On 30 October 2017, H.E. Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag assigned Ms. Salinee Phonprapai, Minister Counsellor to be the representative to attend the Asia Pacific Ladies Friendship Society (ALFS) Annual Charity Golf Tournament 2017. The ambassador is the honorary counsellor for ALFS in holding the charity golf tournament this year. The purpose of this event is to donate fund to the organizations in Japan, countries in the Asia Pacific region that focused on social works, or  

Offering Ceremony of Sandalwood Flowers to His Majesty late King Bhumibol

On 26 October 2017, H.E. Mr. Bansarn Bunnag, Ambassador of Thailand to Japan presided over the Offering Ceremony of Sandalwood Flowers for the Royal Cremation Ceremony of His Majesty late King Bhumibol Adulyadej at the Royal Thai Embassy. Team Thailand officials together with spouses and more than 3,000 Thai people attended.

Worship and Wreath-Laying Ceremony on King Rama V’s Memorial Day

On 23 October 2017, H.E. Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag led the Team Thailand from Royal Thai Embassy in Tokyo, Osaka together with the Head of Thai offices in Japan and the representative of Honorary Consulate-General in Nagoya to attend the worship and wreath-laying ceremony on the occasion of King Rama V’s memorial day at Nittai-ji Temple, Nagoya, Aichi prefecture.

Deputy Mayor of Shizuoka paid a courtesy call on the ambassador

On 4 October 2017, Mr.Shigeyuki Konaga, Deputy Mayor of Shizuoka City, along with officers from Shizuoka paid a courtesy call on H.E. Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag to discuss the cooperation between Shizuoka City and Thailand, and on this occasion, the delegation handed a proposal letter to the Royal Thai Embassy, requesting for Thailand’s consideration of giving 4 elephants to Nihon Daira zoo in Shizuoka, which is the largest zoo in Japan with a purpose of breeding and conserving elephant species in Japan for the future generations.
