The Ambassador visited the 60th anniversary photo exhibition of the Emperor and Empress of Japan

On 15 February 2019, Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag and Madam visited the 60th anniversary photo exhibition of the Emperor and Empress of Japan at the event salon in Tokyu Department Store, Shibuya which has been held between 12 - 19 February 2019 from 10.00 - 19.00 hrs. without entrance fee.

Deputy Mayor of Shizuoka City and Director of the Nihon Daira Zoo visited the Embassy

Former Minister of Law met with the Ambassador

On 14 February 2019, Mrs. Yoko Kamikawa, former Minister of Law met with Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag at the Royal Thai Embassy in order to discuss the bilateral cooperation between Thailand - Shizuoka.

The Ambassador participated in the first international forum on SDGs for Regional Revitalization

On 13 February 2019, Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag participated as a panelist in the first international forum on SDGs for Regional Revitalization at Nikkei Hall in Tokyo. He explained Thailand's efforts to achieve SDGs, particularly through applying Sufficiency Economy Philosophy (SEP).

The 1st grade students of Yanaka Junior High School, Adachi ward visited the Embassy

On 7 February 2019, Mrs. Dheerangkun Uchino, Fist Secretary welcomed six students of the 1st grade of Yanaka Junior High School at the Royal Thai Embassy. On this occasion, They learnt and asked about Thailand including the difference between Thai - Japan culture. In addition, they had an opportunity to meet Ambassador Banasarn Bunnag as well.

Mayor of Katori City, Chiba Prefecture paid a courtesy call on the Ambassador

On 6 February 2019,  Mr. Uji Seiichi, Mayor of Katori City, Chiba Prefecture paid a courtesy call on Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag to report that they recruited a Thai staff to be in charge of tourism promotion department and persuade Thai people to visit since last August. Katori City has a good relations with Thailand

The Ambassador attended the Japan through Diplomats’ Eyes Photo Exhibition in Yokohama

Minister Counsellor (Labour) attended Setsubun Ceremony 2019 at Naritasan Shinshoji Temple

On 3rd February 2019, Mr. Saichon Akanitvong, Minister of Labour attended the annual Setsubun (Bean Throwing) Festival at Naritasan Shinshoji Temple which is the ceremony to celebrate the spring of Japanat Narita san temple. Since ancient times, it is believed that changing seansons may cause misfortune.

The Ambassador presided over the “Press Conference on Kiroro 2020 Roadmap”

On 2 February 2019, Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag was invited by Mr. Chainid Adhyanasakul, Chief Executive Officer of Property Perfect Public Company Limited to give an opening speech for "Press Conference on Kiroro 2020 Roadmap" together with Dr. Bhichai Rattakul, former Deputy Prime Minister and the President of the Property Perfect.
