On 6th August, 2014, fifteen students participating in the “International Children Festa” program, arranged by SOMOS International School, visited the Royal Thai Embassy with their parents.
After Minister Singthong Lapisatepun conveyed a greeting speech, embassy staff gave a brief lecture on Thailand and cultures. In line with our promotion of Herbs and Spices campaign, the attendants got a chance to learn some knowledge of herbs and spices and experienced various Thai food during lunch time. Parents and kids made a small art work together, answered the quiz game and received Thai souvenirs of herbal goods and Thai cooking book.
Visiting Embassy is a part of the Foreign Culture Studies Program for the 4th International Children Festa which will take place at Ebisu Garden Place on September 14th. This program, under the patronage of Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Japan, aims to promote the understanding of cultures of foreign countries. The Royal Thai Embassy has been co-operating every year.
