The Royal Thai Embassy Tokyo supports the activity by providing the venue and Thai food every year. The theme of this year’s event centers on Thai Jasmine rice imports, which will be used to cook various foods that are not quite well-known among Japanese people. Furthermore, there will be a Thai cultural and music performance. Aside from that, the participants will be able to try Kaew Savey and Chok Anan mangoes, which have recently been permitted to be sold in Japan.
Kitoku Shinryo Co., Ltd. is a leading rice import company, which has a market share of more than 90 percent in Japan.
