On 25 October 2016, Mr. Eikei Suzuki, Governor of Mie prefecture visited the Embassy to signed a book of condolences on the passing of H.M. King Bhumibol Adulyadej. The Governor expressed profound sadness at the passing of the king addressed to the Thai people.

On 11 October 2016, Mr. Nattapong Lathapipat, Minister Counsellor presided over the orientation ceremony for the 1st Semester, 2016 students of the Western University of Thailand, Thai Graduate Center in Japan, which was held in the hall of the Royal Thai Embassy.


The 31st Japan-Thailand Nagamasa Festival

On 9 October 2016, Mr. Nattapong Lathapipat, Minister Counsellor, with Ms. Thanawadee Suksulwatana, the Assistant Director of Tourism Authority of Thailand and staff from the Royal Thai Embassy participated in the 31st  Japan-Thailand Nagamasa Festival in Sengen Street, Shizuoka Prefecture.

The 22nd Thailand-Japan Rocket Festival

On 8 October 2016, Ms. Ranida Chamchalerm, Counsellor and participants from Thailand including Yasothon Governor, Mayor, and officers including Tourism Authority of Thailand, joined the welcome reception for the 22nd Thailand-Japan Rocket Festival in Chichibu City, Saimata Prefecture.

On 6 October 2016, at 19.00, H.E. Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag and Madam, together with Team Thailand, attended a concert given by the Bangkok Symphony Orchestra at the Opera-City Concert Hall in Shinjuku.
