Minister of Foreign Affairs visited to Japan

for East Asia - Latin America Cooperation (FEALAC) Foreign Ministerss Meeting in Tokyo during 16 – 17 January 2010.On 15 January 2010, Mr. Kasit Piromya, Minister of Foreign Affairs calls on Mr. Katsuya Okada, Japan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan to discuss bilateral issues including the stability of the Royal Thai Government, the cooperation in development of Mekong sub-region and issues of international concern such as political situation in Myanmar, climate change and nuclear weapon reduction.On the same day, Foreign Minister Kasit met with a group of Japanese experts on Thai studies, leading Japanese media and members of Japan-Thailand business forum to exchange views on Thailand-Japan relations and political situation in Thailand.

delivered the Message of Their Majesties The Emperor and the Empress of Japan in the occasion of the King’s Bhumibol’s Birthday to Mr. Pichai Israbhakdi, Chargé d’Affairs, a.i., where the heads of Thai Offices in Tokyo and the Embassy’s officials also witnessed. 

Tokyo-Jogakukan Elementary School visited the Embassy

visited the Royal Thai Embassy as a international study programme. The Embassy’s staffs briefed the students on Thailand and Thai culture. After the briefing, the students asked interesting questioned on Thailand and its culture. In this occasion, the Embassy’s staffs performed Thai traditional music for the first time to the students. Indeed, Tokyo-Jogakukan Elementary School visits the Embassy every year. All students pay attention to listen to the briefing which makes impression and appreciation to the Embassy’s officials and staffs.
