Minister Counsellor welcomed the delegation of the eastern province executive officers and youth city planner winning team

On 28 March 2019, Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag assigned Mrs. Salinee Phonprapai, Minister Counsellor to welcome the delegation of the Geo-Informatics and Space Technology Development Agency (GISTDA) , the eastern province executive officers and city planner youth winning team led by Mr. Kittiphan Rojanacheewa, Advisor to the Office of GISTDA at the Royal Thai Embassy in Tokyo.

On 27 March 2019, Minister Cherdchai Chaivaivid welcomed the delegation of the Royal Thai Police led by Police Lieutenant General Promtorn Parkart, Assistant Commissioner General of the Royal Thai Police. Minister Counsellor, Ms.Cataleya Phatoomros gave a brief overview of the Embassy and Ambassador’s Residence and First Secretary, Mr. Wichian Sarasiri gave briefing on the current living condition of Thai citizens residing in Japan.

Minister of Labour of the Kingdom of Thailand visited the Embassy

On 27 March 2019, Minister Cherdchai Chaivaivid welcomed Police General Adul Sangsingkeo, Minister of Labour of the Kingdom of Thailand in order to discuss the new labour law of Japan.

Charge d'affaires welcomed the Thailand National Blind Football Team

On 22 March 2019, Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag assigned Mr. Cherdchai Chaivaivid, Charge d'affaires to host lunch at the Royal Thai Embassy in honour of the Thailand National Blind Football Team and staffs who participated in the IBAS Football World Grand Prix 2019.

The Minister went to cheer the Thailand National Blind Football Team

On March 20, 2019, Minister Cherdchai Chaivaivid went to cheer the Thailand National Blind Football Team which participated in the IBSA Blind Football World Grand Prix 2019, Group B qualifying match between Thailand and Turkey National Blind Football Teams. Both teams competed closely with score 1 : 1.

Mainichi Japanese Exchange Scholarship Exchange Program students paid a courtesy call on the Ambassador

On 20 March 2019, Mainichi Academic Group, Thailand brought 8 students in the Mainichi Japanese Exchange Scholarship Exchange Program to pay a courtesy call on Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag. The Ambassador gave advice on living in Japan to the students and recommended them to bring knowledge

The Nihongo Partners volunteers organized by The Japan Foundation paid a courtesy call on the Ambassador

On 19 March 2019, Mr. Masato Furuya, the Director of Asia Center, The Japan Foundation, led 6 volunteers who had served as Japanese language teachers in junior high schools to pay a courtesy call on Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag.

Ambassador attended the 8th ASEAN-Hitachi Annual Gathering

On 18 March 2019, Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag together with the Ambassadors of ASEAN countries attended the 8th ASEAN-Hitachi Annual Gathering in Tokyo which the executive officers of Hitachi provided the information on the development of Hitachi innovation and international cooperation among ASEAN countries.
