On 25 August 2019, Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag assigned Mrs. Salinee Phonprapai, Minister Counsellor, to attend the 10th Thai Festival in Shizuoka, which is organised by the Shizuoka-Thailand Friendship Association, during 24 – 25 August 2019. At the festival, the Royal Thai Embassy held a Thai garland workshop to promote Thai culture and tradition, as well as provided a consular service for Thai and Japanese citizens living in Shizuoka and surrounded areas. As a new cooperation, the Royal Embassy also invited the music band “From Street to Stars (S2S)” from Thailand Association of the Blind (TAB) to perform in Shizuoka in order to raise awareness about the role of a disable person in the society. Additionally, the Office of Agricultural Affairs also participated to promote “Golden Banana” from Thailand, whereas the Tourism Authority of Thailand held a booth to PR tourist attractions in Northeastern part of Thailand.
On 22 August 2019, Mr. Hironobu Aoki, General Manager of Foreign Department of Fourdays Co., Ltd. paid a courtesy on Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag to give fund for Thailand Association of the Blind’s S2S Band to perform at Thai Festival in Shizuoka during 23-24 August 2019

The Royal Thai Embassy held a ceremony in honor of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit in the reign of King Rama IX’s 87th birthday anniversary on 12 August 2019 at the function hall of the Royal Thai Embassy. H.E. Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag presided over the ceremony with officials of the Royal Thai Embassy and their spouses, as well as the Thai citizens living in Japan, in total around 150 people in this ceremony.
On 10 August 2019, Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag welcomed Dr. Sukhum Karnchanapimai, Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Public Health, Dr. Supakit Sirilak, Deputy Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Public Health and other delegations who visited to Japan to discuss the policy and exchange views about Health care system at the Ministry of Health Labour and Welfare, visit to National Center for global Health and Medicine for advanced medical care and take a lecture on long term care and community medicine of Kunitachi city in Tokyo at the nursing home for the elderly.
