The Ambassador attended the official opening ceremony of Banpu Power Japan

On 3 December 2018, Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag presided over the official opening ceremony of Banpu Power Japan at the hall of the Royal Thai Embassy. Ms. Somruedee Chaimongkol, CEO of Banpu Co., Ltd. Mr. Suthee Sukruen, CEO of Banpu Power Co., Ltd. and Mr. Wataru Shima,  CEO of Banpu Power Japan Co., Ltd. also attended this event together with more than 200 distinguished guests.

Minister welcomed Mizuho Governor

On 30 November 2018, Mr. Cherdchai Chaivaivid, Minister welcomed Mr. Hiroyuki Sugiura, Governor of Mizuho. Mizuho city signed the agreement to enhance the relations with Khonkaen city in 2016. The Khonkaen Governor and Khonkaen Mayor led the delegation to Mizuho city between 11-13 May 2018 and the Governor of Mizuho will visit Thailand between 16 -19 December 2018. The Minister mentioned that the embassy is willing to help strengthening the Mizuho and Khonkaen relations.

The Ambassador attended the opening ceremony of the TAT Office in Fukuoka

On 30 November 2018, Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag together with H.E. Mr. Weerasak Kowsurat, Minister of Tourism and Sport of Thailand and Mr.Yuthasak Supasorn, TAT Governor as well as Mr. Mr. Attakarn Wongchanamas, Consul-General in Fukuoka attended the opening ceremony of the Tourism Authority of Thailand which the government approved to reopen in order to tie the relations with Kyushu, Chugoku (some area) and Okinawa.

Minister welcomed the Chairman of the Law, Criminal Justice and Police Administration of the National Legislative Assembly

On 27 November 2018, Mr. Cherdchai Chaivaivid, Minister welcomed Admiral Sittawat Wongsuwon, Chairman of the Law, Criminal Justice and Police Administration of the National Legislative Assembly, and the delegation at hall of the Royal Thai Embassy.

The Royal Thai Embassy attended the Kathina Ceremony at Wat Pa Chappannarangsi Saitamai

On 18 November 2018, Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag assigned Ms. Pishayasinee Mulapruk to preside over the Kathina Ceremony at Wat PaChappannarangsi Saitama. There were a lot of Thai Buddhists and foreigners participating to inherit this ceremony.  

The Royal Thai Embassy attended the Hiroshima Loy Kratong 2018

On 17 November 2018, H.E. Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag has assigned Mrs. Salinee Phonprapai, Minister Counsellor to attend the 19th Hiroshima Loy Kratong Festival at Hotel Century 21 in Hiroshima which was held by Mr. Masahiro Nishikawa, the President of the Hiroshima-Thailand Association.

On 13 November 2018, Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag assigned Mr. Cherdchai Chaivaivid, Minister to be the representative to preside over the MOU signing ceremony between the Administrative Evaluation Bureau of Thailand (AEB) and Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications of Japan (MIC) by General Viddhavat Rajatanun, Ombudsman for Chief Ombudsman and Mr. Masatoshi Ishida, Minister of Internal Affairs and Communications of Japan at the MIC.
