On 13 November 2018, International Exchange Association of Ryugasaki, Ibaraki prefecture led the students from Junior Meeting Club to the Royal Thai Embassy. On this occasion, Ms. Dheerangkun Uchino, First Secretary welcomed and gave an overall briefing about history and the Thailand-Japan relations in every dimension to the them including participating in Q&A section.
On 11 November 2018, Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag assigned Ms. Pattamawadee Aueareechit to preside over the Kathina Ceremony at Wat Pa Buddharangsee Tokyo. This ceremony aimed to collect fund for building accommodation places for monks and set the buddhist ceremonies at the temple.
On 11 November 2018, Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag assigned Mr. Saichon Akanitvong, Minister Counsellor (Labour) to attend the 14th annual parade in Kawagoe which was participated by Thai community in Saitama to raise awareness of Thailand. This event was participated by Thai community for 12 years. Besides Thai community, there were also others from Korea, the Phillipines and Indonesia total of 500 participants.
On 11 November 2018, Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag assigned Mr. Suvijak Piriyathananukul, Second Secretary together with Team Thailand to preside over the Kathina Ceremony at Wat Paknam Japan, Chiba prefecture. In addition, the Royal Thai Embassy organized the Mobile Consular at the temple. The service included passport services, civil registration and legalization.
On 11 November 2018, Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag assigned Mr. Cherdchai Chaivaivid, Minsiter to preside over the Kathina Ceremony at Wat Imbundhammaram, Tokyo. This ceremony was for collecting funds for extending the area of the temple to set up the buddhist ceremonies.
On 10 November 2018, the National Defence College of Thailand batch 53 paid a courtesy call on Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag at the Royal Thai Embassy, Tokyo.
On 9 November 2018, Minister Cherdchai Chaivaivid attended an event organized by the Education for Development Foundation (EDF) to celebrate its 30th anniversary and give thanks to its donors for supporting the Foundation’s work through “Darunee” scholarship program, which provides financial support to needed children in Thailand and other Southeast Asian countries. On this occasion, the Minister expressed his appreciation to the EDF and reaffirmed the Royal Thai Government’s commitment to provide equality in education for all Thai children.
On 9 November 2018, Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag presided over the meeting with the Thai Solar Energy Companies at the Royal Thai Embassy. There were executive officials of the Royal Thai Embassy and head of govenment officials participated.
On 9 November 2018, Mr. Wataru Shima, CEO of Banpu Power Japan, Tokyo Branch paid a courtesy call on Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag to introduce himself. On this occasion, both sides discussed the company's business plan in Japan and the launch of the company which will be held officially soon.
On 8 November 2018, a culture salon for Diners Club members held an activity titled "Visit the Royal Thai Embassy" at the Embassy Hall. Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag welcomed and gave a briefing about Thailand-Japan relations and history to the 45 participants and the staff of the Tourism Authority of Thailand introduced the tourist information in Thailand. In the event, there was a Thai traditional dance performed at the stage and Thai cuisine was served. In addition, the participants had opportunity to visit the Thai Residence as well.
