Mr. Hiroyuki Kado, Member of Parliament of Wakayama Prefecture paid a courtesy call on the Ambassador

On 6 June 2019, Mr. Hiroyuki Kado, Member of Parliament of Wakayama Prefecture paid a courtesy call on Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag in order to express gratitude for allowing delegation from Wakayama to visit the Thai Residence on the 15th March 2019. In addition, both sides discussed the corporation to encourage the Thailand - Wakayama relations.

The 6th grade students of Koriyama Xaverio Gakuen School visited the Embassy

On 6 June 2019, Mrs. Dheerangkun Uchino, Fist Secretary welcomed 36 students of the 6th grade and teacher from Koriyama Xaverio Gakuen Elementary School, Fukushima Prefecture to the Royal Thai Embassy as out-of-school learning. On this occasion, First Secretary Dheerangkun gave lecture about the Thai culture and Thailand – Japan relations. There was also Q&A section to gain more knowledge about Thailand.

The Royal Thai Embassy organized a workshop on making the traditional Thai garland for the ALFS members

On 5 June 2019, Mrs. Yupadee Bunnag, the Ambassador's spouse held a workshop on making your own traditional Thai garland for the Asia-Pacific Ladies Friendship Society (ALFS), ALFS's Ikebana lesson which Madam Yupadee is a chairman of the group at the Embassy Hall.

Deputy Director-General of Department of Women’s Affairs and Family Development and delegation paid a courtesy call on Ambassador

On 31 May 2019, Ms. Wichita Rachatanandhikul, Deputy Director-General of Department of Women’s Affairs and Family Development, led a delegation from Department of Women’s Affairs and Family Development, Comptroller General’s Department, and Department of Consular Affairs, to pay a courtesy call on Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag. In this occasion, they discussed about Thai consular affairs in Japan, Thai women’s situation in Japan, as well as the Embassy’s practice in supporting Thai people in Japan. Moreover, they also exchanged opinions about the implementation of “the Networking of Thai Women Abroad Data-base Development Project, the Case Study of Japan”.

Ambassador and government officials expressed the condolences over the demise of General Prem Tinsulanonda, President of the Privy Council and Statesman of Thailand

On 27 May 2019, H.E. Ambassador BansarnBunnag presided over a meeting among the Royal Thai Embassy’s government officials. In this occasion, the officials expressed their condolences over the demise of General Prem Tinsulanonda, President of the Privy Council and Statesman of Thailand, who passed away on 26 May 2019 at the age of 98
