The Royal Thai Embassy exhibits a woodblock printing exposition titled “Legendary Land of the King” by Professor Emeritus Pishnu Supanimit, expert artist of Thai contemporary arts, who pays respect to King Rama IX through arts using Japanese woodblock printing technique “Ukiyo-e”. If interested, everyone is welcomed to participate without any fee at the Hall of the Royal Thai Embassy.

On 18 – 19 July 2018, Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag accompanied the delegation of Deputy Prime Minister Somkid Jatusripitak to visit Mie Prefecture in order to strengthen the cooperation between Thailand and Japanese locals. Mie Prefecture arranged cooperative frameworks with Thai organizations including the BOI and the Ministry of Industry to promote economic cooperation.
The 4th Thailand – Japan High Level Joint Commission was held on 18 July 2018 at Tokyo, with H.E. Mr. Yoshihide Suga, Chief Cabinet Secretary of Japan, together with H.E. Mr. Somkid Jatusripitak, Deputy Prime Minister of Thailand, presided over the discussion regarding the comprehensive economic strategic cooperation in every aspect.
