




On 11 July 2019, H.E. Mr. Bansarn Bunnag, the Ambassador of Thailand to Japan, together with the officials of the Royal Thai Embassy, Tokyo, attended the JTA Evening Cool Party at the Mitsui Sumitomo Gofukubashi Club, Tokyo, which is an annual party for the member of the Japan-Thailand Association and this year was the 15th time. The objective is to create opportunities for the officials and staff of the Embassy to meet JTA members who are the Japanese that related or interested in Thailand in various fields.

On 2 July 2019, Mr. Hiroki Mitsumata, the former Chairman of JETRO Bangkok, paid a courtesy call on the Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag to bid farewell as he finished his tenure and introduce Mr. Atsushi Taketani as the new JETRO Chairman in Bangkok.
During 27 - 29 June 2019, Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag joined the delegation of His Excellency General Prayut Chan-o-cha, Prime Minister of Thailand. The Prime Minister attended the G20 summit according to the invitation by Japanese Government to exchange views and opinions

On 21 June 2019, Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag and officials from the Royal Thai Embassy joined the merit-making ceremony to the monks at Wat Im Bunthamaram, Tokyo and met with Thai people living in Japan. After making merit at the temple, the abbot of Wat Imbun led the ambassador and other people to pay homage to the nearby Great Musashino Daibutsu.
