On 6 February 2019, Mr. Uji Seiichi, Mayor of Katori City, Chiba Prefecture paid a courtesy call on Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag to report that they recruited a Thai staff to be in charge of tourism promotion department and persuade Thai people to visit since last August. Katori City has a good relations with Thailand

On 2 February 2019, Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag was invited by Mr. Chainid Adhyanasakul, Chief Executive Officer of Property Perfect Public Company Limited to give an opening speech for "Press Conference on Kiroro 2020 Roadmap" together with Dr. Bhichai Rattakul, former Deputy Prime Minister and the President of the Property Perfect.
On February 1, 2019, Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag joined the delegation of H.E Mr. Somkid Jatusripitak to visit Kyoto. In the morning, the Deputy Prime Minister met with Mr. Takatoshi Nishiwaki, Governor of Kyoto Prefecture to strengthen relations with local people and businesses and he invited investors from Kyoto to expand their business in Thailand.
On the afternoon of January 31, 2019, Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag accompanied H.E. Mr. Somkid Jatusripitak, Deputy Prime Minister to visit Wakayama Prefecture. On this occasion, the Deputy Prime Minister met with Mr. Yoshinobu Nisaka, Governor of Wakayama Prefecture to promote investment from Wakayama Prefecture in Thailand.
Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag joined the delegation of H.E Mr. Somkid Jatusripitak to visit Osaka, Wakayama and Kyoto between 31 January to 2 February 2019. On the morning of the 31 January, Deputy Prime Minister gave a keynote speech at the Thai Investment Seminar in Osaka on the topic of "Thailand: Advancing ASEAN - Japan Partnership"

On 28 January 2019, Mr. Bansan Bunnag, Ambassador welcomed the winner of the MOA Museum of Art Children’s Art Exhibition, which is organized for the 30th time, with over 310,000 artworks from children in Japan and abroad. “Laying and Bird Watching” which is the artwork of Phuwadet Permsup (age 9 years old) has been awarded from the MOA Museum and the other 2 artworks have also been exhibited as well. On this occasion, the Ambassador admired him and stated that Phuvadet is a Goodwill Ambassador for art filed between Thailand and Japan.
