The delegation of the Command and General Staff College visited the embassy

On 13 March 2018, H.E. Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag welcomed the delegation of the Command and General Staff College (CGSC), Royal Thai Army batch, 96 led by Col. Direk Deeprasert, Deputy Commander of CGSC at the Royal Thai Embassy. The delegation came to Japan on the occasion of studying the Defence Environmental Strategy and visiting the Ministry of Self Defense of Japan. On this occasion, the Ambassador gave an overview briefing of Thailand - Japan relations as well.

The delegation from the National Science Technology and Innovation Policy Office paid a courtesy call on the Ambassador

On 5 March 2018, H.E. Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag welcomed the delegations from the National Science Technology and Innovation Policy Office led by Ms. Aekanong Jangbua, Vice Secretary General on the occasion of leading the winners from the Food Innopolis Innovation Contest 2017 to visit Japan.

Mayor of Yurihama, Tottori Prefecture visited the Embassy

On 27 February 2018, Mr. Masamichi Miyawaki, Mayor of Yurihama, Tottori Prefecture together with Mr. Shintaro Konishi, Sport Division Director, Tottori Prefecture met with Mr. Wichian Sarasiri, First Secretary and Ms. Dheerangkun Uchino, First Secretary to promote “Ground Golf”. Ground Golf is a sport that is easy to understand and play, even for a beginner. In addition, Tottori will host this sport in the World Masters Games in 2021.  

Royal Thai Embassy visited Umenoki Elementary School

On 27 February 2018, Ms. Salinee Phonprapai, Minister Counsellor together with Ms. Dheerangkun Uchino, First Secretary and embassy staffs gave a lecture about Thailand as well as Japan – Thailand Relations, which is the international exchange program, to the grade 3 students of Umenoki Elementary School, Tokyo.

The Ambassador presided over the 285th meeting of the ASEAN Committee in Tokyo

On 21 February 2018, H.E. Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag presided over the 285th Meeting of the ASEAN Committee in Tokyo (ACT) at the Embassy of Brunei Darussalam in Tokyo. The Ambassadors of ASEAN and representatives from 10 countries attended this meeting in order to continue to enhance the role and raise awareness of ASEAN in Japan.

The Ambassador gave guidance to the Thai Young Farm Leaders (Batch 35)

On 20 February 2018, Mr. Choltisak Chawpaknum, Minister Counsellor (Agriculture) brought the Thai Young Farm Leaders (Batch 35), who participated in the ASEAN Young Farm Leader’s Training Programme Year 2017 for 11 months, to pay a courtesy call on the Ambassador before going back to Thailand at the end of February 2018.

The Delegation of the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission visited the Royal Thai Embassy Tokyo

On 19 February 2018, Mr. Cherdchai Chaivaivid, Chargé d'affaires welcomed the delegation of The National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) led by General Sukit Khamasunthorn at the Royal Thai Embassy. The delegation of NBTC came to Japan on the occasion of study visit at the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications of Japan.
