On 21 September 2017, Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag welcomed students from M-Navi Program, Meiji University. On this occasion, the students listened to the briefing of Thailand and Thailand-Japan relations as well as the role of the Royal Thai Embassy. Mr. Bansarn Bunnag, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to Japan, paid a courtesy call on Mr. Shigeki Takizaki, Director-General of the Southeast and Southwest Asian Affairs Department, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan. The Ambassador extended his congratulations upon Mr. Takizaki's appointment as Director-General of the Southeast and Southwest Asian Affairs Department. They discussed opportunities for further cooperation between Thailand and Japan to strengthen the friendly relations, including 2 high level visit to commemorate the 130th anniversary of the establishment of the Japan-Thailand diplomatic relations.
