On 1 June 2018, H.E. Mr. Bansarn Bunnag, the Ambassador of Thailand to Tokyo, presided over the inaugural flight of NokScoot using the Narita-Don Mueang route. On this occasion, the Ambassador congratulated and indicated that NokScoot's new flight route is a part of enhancing Japanese-Thai relations and strengthening the ties between the two countries.
