On 26 March 2018, H.E. Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag hosted a lunch in honor of Mr. Seiichi Kondo, Chairman of the Japan Association of the Promotion of Arts (JAPA) and delegation in order to exchange views on the cultural cooperation between Thailand and Japan at the Thai Residence.
On 24 March 2018, the Royal Thai Embassy organized the Mobile Consular at the International Center in Yamanashi Prefecture. The service included passport services, civil registration and legalization. In addition, the Thai Network in Japan: TNJ provided consultation about life and living in Japan. On this occasion, participants received a basic health check by Doctor Takashi Sawada, who is a Japanese volunteer doctor. There were approximately 82 people using this service.
On 22 March 2018, the Mainichi Academic Group brought 6 students from the Mainichi Japanese Exchange Scholarship Program to pay a courtesy call on Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag at the Royal Thai Embassy. On this occasion, the Ambassador gave advice on living in Japan and he mentioned that they should use the knowledge gained from this program, to develop themselves and contribute to society and the country in the future.
On 21 March 2018, Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag met with Mr. Hom Songpadith, Executive officer of Lieu Tou Industry Co., Ltd. which imports food and drink product from Thailand and Laos to sell in Japan.
On 20 March 2018, Mr. Eizo Murakami, President & CEO of K Line Ltd. which is a big logistic company in Japan, paid a courtesy call on Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag at the Royal Thai Embassy to introduce himself and his business.
On this occasion, both sides exchanged views and opinions on K Line business in Thailand which Mr. Murakami said that it is the biggest branch in oversea and going well.
On 19 March 2018, Minister-Counsellor Salinee Phonprapai attended the presentation of work plan by 28 Thai students who participated in a JENESYS exchange program organised by Japan International Cooperation Center. People-to-people exchanges are fundamental to close and cordial Thai-Japanese relations.
On 13 March 2018, H.E. Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag welcomed the delegation of the Command and General Staff College (CGSC), Royal Thai Army batch, 96 led by Col. Direk Deeprasert, Deputy Commander of CGSC at the Royal Thai Embassy. The delegation came to Japan on the occasion of studying the Defence Environmental Strategy and visiting the Ministry of Self Defense of Japan. On this occasion, the Ambassador gave an overview briefing of Thailand - Japan relations as well.
