On 30 September 2019, Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag paid a bid farewell to Mr. Hiroshige Seko, Secretary-General for the LDP in the House of Councillors. During Mr. Seko was serving as the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), he took an important role in the economic development between Thailand and Japan.

In this occasion, the officials expressed their condolences over the demise of H.E. Mr. Krerkpan Roekchamnong, Ambassador to Spain, Royal Thai Embassy of Madrid, who passed away on 25 August 2019.
