On 4 November 2018, Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag assigned Ms. Nathiya Suchida, Minister (Commercial Affairs) to be the representative to attend the Kathina Ceremony at Wat Rakang. This ceremony aimed to collect fund for moving to the new place in the near future.
On 31 October 2018, Ms. Dheerangkun Uchino, First Secretary attended the exhibition of the 45th Ship for Southeast Asian and Japanese Youth Program (SSEAYP) at the National Olympics Memorial Youth Center. This "Cultural Exchange Program" is playing an important role for cultivating the youth and deepening mutual understanding among Japan and ASEAN member countries.
On 31 October 2018 Minister Cherdchai Chaivaivid joined other ASEAN diplomats at the “ASEAN Design Selection 2018” event, which showcases selected products from ASEAN countries that have been given the “Good Design Award” from the Japan Institute of Design Promotion in collaboration with the ASEAN-Japan Centre. This is part of the Good Design Exhibition 2018 which is held from 31 October to 4 November 2018 at Tokyo Midtown. The exhibition also features Thai products which have been awarded “Design Excellence Award” or “DEmark” by the Department of International Trade Promotion, Ministry of Commerce of Thailand.
On 30 October 2018, Ms. Salinee Phonprapai, Minister Counsellor welcomed 2 participants of the 60th IATSS Forum at the Royal Thai Embassy.
On 30 October 2018, Mr. Masafumi Shukuri, Chairman of International High-Speed Rail Association, IHRA paid a courtesy call on Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag at the Royal Thai Embassy. On this occasion, both sides discussed the EEC and the IHRA Forum under the theme of "Overcoming Challenges in a Complex World Past, Present and Future" which will be held during 7-9 November 2018 in Fukuoka.
On 30 October 2018, Mr. Shigeru Nakanishi, Mayor of Kanoya city paid a courtesy call on Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag at the Royal Thai Embassy.
On 23 October 2018, Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag presided over the wreath laying and religious ceremony on the occasion of King Chulalongkorn Memorial Day at Nittaiji Temple in Nagoya city, Aichi Prefecture. There were more than 40 people including the Thai officers and Thai citizen in Japan participate in the ceremony.
On 22 October 2018, Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) led the delegation of the World Robot Summit Tokyo 2018 to pay a courtesy call on H.E. Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag at the Royal Thai Embassy. On the occasion, the Ambassador gave a presentation on the Japan-Thailand relations.
On 20 October 2018, the Royal Thai Embassy organized the Mobile Consular at the Thai Festival in Saga city. The service included passport services, civil registration, legalization as well as visa. On this occasion, Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag met Thai people living in that area and got to know about their living. In addition, it was an opportunity to promote the openin of the Royal Thai Consulate-General inn Fukuoka.
On 20 October 2018, Ambassador Bansarn BUNNAG presided over the opening ceremony of the first Thai Festival in Saga with Mr. Yoshinori Yamaguchi, Governor of Saga, and Mr. Attakarn Wongchanamas, Consul General of Thailand to Fukuoka. The Thai Festival in Saga was held for the first time this year, after the Royal Thai Embassy had cooperated with Saga Prefecture to organize the Thai Fair in Saga in 2017 to commemorate the 130th anniversary of Japan and Thailand Diplomatic relations.
