On 14 April 2019, Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag assigned Mr. Choltisak Chawpaknum, Minister Counsellor (Agriculture) to preside over the Songkran Festival at Wat Pa Buddharangsee Tokyo to enhance Thai culture and to strengthen the Thai community.
On 10 April 2019, Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag and Madam Yupadee Bunnag together with spouses of diplomats as well as staff members of the Embassy participated in the “ 43th Asia-Pacific Festival & Charity Bazaar 2019” organized by the Asia-Pacific Ladies Friendship Society (ALFS) at ANA InterContinental Tokyo. The Bazaar was held by cooperation of 26 ALFS member states in the Asia-Pacific region to raise funds for welfare and disaster relief in the region.
On 5 April 2019, Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag presided over the certificate giving ceremony for the Thai Students’ Association in Japan under the Royal Patronage (TSAJ), batch 79th, which finished their tenure on 31 March 2019 and welcomed batch 80th which has started on 1 April 2019.
On 5 April 2019, at 15.00 hrs., Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag and Madame together with Team Thailand in Japan and embassy staffs welcomed Lt. Gen. Weerachon Sukhondhapatipak, Deputy Government spokesman who led the wild boars team visiting
On 5 April 2019, Mr. Cherdchai Chaivaivid, Minister presided over the opening of 20th Thai Festival meeting with the exhibitors at the Royal Thai Embassy. On this occasion, the exhibitors listened to the manual of the Thai Festival in Tokyo and drew the booth space lottery.
On 4 April 2019, Her Imperial Highness Princess Takamado graciously attended the promotional event of “Japan through Diplomats’ Eyes” Photo Exhibition hosted by His Excellency Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag at the Thai Residence, Tokyo, with the presences of more than 70 ambassadors.
On 3 April 2019, Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag welcomed the delegation of Air Command and Staff College 63rd Class led by Air Vice-Marshal Wachirasak Pusit, Commander at the Royal Thai Embassy.
On 1 April 2019, Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag welcomed and gave a lecture to the 12 students from Princess Chulabhorn Science High School who got the government scholarship under the Kosen education method at the National Institute of Technology (KOSEN) which is the second batch.
On 28 March 2019, Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag assigned Mrs. Salinee Phonprapai, Minister Counsellor to welcome the delegation of the Geo-Informatics and Space Technology Development Agency (GISTDA) , the eastern province executive officers and city planner youth winning team led by Mr. Kittiphan Rojanacheewa, Advisor to the Office of GISTDA at the Royal Thai Embassy in Tokyo.
On 27 March 2019, Minister Cherdchai Chaivaivid welcomed the delegation of the Royal Thai Police led by Police Lieutenant General Promtorn Parkart, Assistant Commissioner General of the Royal Thai Police. Minister Counsellor, Ms.Cataleya Phatoomros gave a brief overview of the Embassy and Ambassador’s Residence and First Secretary, Mr. Wichian Sarasiri gave briefing on the current living condition of Thai citizens residing in Japan.
