On 27 February 2018, Mr. Masamichi Miyawaki, Mayor of Yurihama, Tottori Prefecture together with Mr. Shintaro Konishi, Sport Division Director, Tottori Prefecture met with Mr. Wichian Sarasiri, First Secretary and Ms. Dheerangkun Uchino, First Secretary to promote “Ground Golf”. Ground Golf is a sport that is easy to understand and play, even for a beginner. In addition, Tottori will host this sport in the World Masters Games in 2021.
