10.20 5th Thailand-Japan International Academic Conference 2012

10.18 Hokkaido Obihiro Sanjo High School students visited Embassy

On 18 October 2012, eight students from Hokkaido Obihiro Sanjo High School visited the Embassy. The group was welcomed by Mr. Singtong Lapisatepun, Chargé d’Affaires, who then gave a briefing on Thailand-Hokkaido relations and answered questions from the students.  The Embassy staff talked about Thailand and its culture using Power Point.Such visit was a part of the students’ study trip in Tokyo, which was introduced by the Goi Peace Foundation.

On 18 October 2012, eight students from Hokkaido Obihiro Sanjo High School visited the Embassy. 09.21 Briefing on Thai Culture at Dai-san Kasai Elementary School

On 21 September 2012, the Embassy organized a special lecture to introduce Thai history and culture as well as the relationship between Thailand and Japan for 400 students and their parents at Dai-san Kasai Elementary School, Edogawa city, Tokyo. Programme included a perfromance of Thai traditional musical instruments by the Embassy’s staff members and Thai traditional dance by Japan Asia Fine Arts Association.

09.10 The Juroku Bank and Kasikorn Bank paid a farewell visit to the Ambassador

On 10 September 2012, Mr. Seiji Miwa, Manager of Tokyo branch, the Juroku Bank, together with Mr. Chakrit Suwannachote, Manager of Tokyo branch, Kasikorn Bank, paid a farewell visit to the Ambassador on the occasion of completing his tour of duty at the end of September 2012.
