JTA Evening Cool Party 2017

Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag and Mr. Teisuke Kitayama, Chairman of JTA gave the opening remarks including Mr. Fumio Shimizu, Deputy Director-General, Asian and Oceanian Affairs Bureau, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan proposed the opening toast. A lot of people participated in this event. On this occasion, Mr. Teisuke Kitayama, Chairman of the JTA, mentioned his intention to strengthen Japan –Thailand relations. Meanwhile, the Ambassador emphasized further strengthening of bilateral relations. Particularly, since this year is the 130th Anniversary of Japan –Thailand diplomatic relations.

Ambassador hosted a dinner for Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan

... Ambassador Sihasak Phuangketkeow and Mme. Varaporn Phuangketkeow hosted a dinner in honour of Mr. Takio Yamada, Director-General of the Southeast and Southwest Asia Affairs Department and his wife and a group of officers from the East Asia Department of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, who are responsible for Thailand’s issues. The Ambassador Discussed Official Issues with the Director-General of the Southeast Asia and Southwest Asian Affairs Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan

Bunnag hosted lunch for Mr. Kazuya Nashida, the Director-General of Southeast Asia and Southwest Asian Affairs Department, together with relevant Japanese officials at the Residence of the Royal Thai Embassy. On this occasion, they affirmed the strong relations between Thailand and Japan and discussed promoting cooperation in every aspect.

... 2014, Japan Thailand Association, in cooperation with the Embassy, held the Evening Cool Party 2014 at the Embassy’s hall for the association’s members to get together and exchange information about Thailand as well as to further strengthen the relations between Japan - Thailand. At the opening, the Ambassador, along with Mr. Teisuke Kitayama, the President of Japan Thailand Association and Mr. Takio Yamada, Director-General, Southeast and Southwest Asian Affairs Department, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, gave the welcome speeches and remarks.  As many as 250 guests were also entertained by the Thai classical music performance by the Embassy’s staff, the DVD about Thailand and various kinds of Thai Food.

..., in cooperation with the Embassy, held the Evening Cool Party 2015 at Gofukubashi Club, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation for the association’s members to get together and exchange information about Thailand as well as to further strengthen the relations between Japan – Thailand. At the opening, the Ambassador Sihasak Phuangketkeow along with Mr. Teisuke Kitayama, President of Japan-Thailand Association and Mr. Takio Yamada, Director-General, Southeast and Southwest Asian Affairs Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan gave the welcome speech and remarks. There were so many guests participated, and all were entertained by Thai classical music performance by the Embassy’s staff, and various kinds of Thai food.
