2013.10.30 Students from NIYE 2013 Junior Program visited the Embassy

October 2013, 10 students from the NIYE 2013 Junior Program (Invitation for Junior High School Students in ASEAN Member Countries for Youth Exchange Project), led by Mr. Theeraphol Pitackchartwong, the attendant of the group, attended a briefing about Thailand-Japan relations at the Embassy. The students are currently studying in junior high school. The purpose of the program is to study about Japanese culture and strengthen the relationship between Japan and ASEAN member countries and programmes were held in Gifu and Tokyo during 22 October - 1 November 2013. The NIYE 2013 Junior Program is run under the National Institution for Youth Education, Japan.

On 2 July 2014, Ambassador Thanatip Upatising briefed at the annual conference of the Saitama-Thailand Friendship Association, delivering words of gratitude for the association’s 15-year-continuous efforts to strengthen Thailand-Japan and Thailand-Saitama relations.  He also emphasized on the Thai government’s commitment to promote its relationship with Japan in all aspects, continuing over 600 years of their strong tie.  Ambassador took this opportunity to lessen concerns towards impacts on business in the country by sharing the audience about current political situation in Thailand....

The Ambassador attended Thailand MICE Roadshow in Japan 2016

In this event, the TCEB assisted 14 hotel agents, convention and event organizers, airlines and golf course proprietors to meet with 44 MICE operators in Japan.     At the event, Ambassador Bansarn talked about Thailand-Japan relations, which has a long, cordial relationship in every aspect; especially economics. He emphasized that Thailand has high capability in MICE business and recommended Japanese entrepreneurs to use Thailand’s services. He also drew a prize for the event participants.

The Centennial of the Demise of King Rama V
