Period of stay in Thailand
To obtain a tourist visa the procedure is the same as for a non-immigrant visa, except that upon entry a stay of 60 days will be granted. For passport holders of most countries, this visa can be extended 1 time only with maximum of 30 days at an Immigration Bureau. Holders of this type of visa may not be gainfully employed in Thailand.
