Mr. Yasuo Fukuda, former Prime Minister of Japan, also gave a speech on the close ties between the two countries from the Japanese Imperial Family and the Thai Royal Family level and Japan’s recent granting short-term-visa exemption for Thai tourists, which is hoped to lead for more exchange at people level.  Ambassador proposed the toast for His Majesty the King and His Majesty the Emperor of Japan.
