Non-Immigrant Visa B (Conducting business)
This type of visa is provided for foreigners who (1) wish to conduct business in Thailand or (2) invest in condominiums in Thailand, have a Thai bank account or purchase a Thai government bond with the equivalent amount of not less than 3 million Baht.
This type of visa enters into force from 9 October 2020.

(1) To conduct business in Thailand

Required Documents

One original and one copy of the following documents are required:
1. Passport: With validity of not less than 6 months and has at least TWO completely empty pages.
2. Application form: Completely filled in and signed by the applicant.

3. One colour photo (size 3.5 x 4.5 cm.): Please attach the photo to the form with glue.
4. Personal history form: Completely filled in and signed by the applicant. (The form can be downloaded
 here)
5. Air ticket or e-ticket reservation document issued by airline, with applicant’s name, flight number and date of entry into Thailand (please refer to the Embassy’s announcement).

An original letter of invitation from business associates / company / prospective employer in Thailand: PDF or fax copy is not acceptable.
* The letter must have the company's letter head with company's seal, signed by the authorized person(s) whose name(s) listed in the company's registration issued by the Ministry of Commerce of Thailand, and the letter must contain the applicant's name, purpose of visit to the Kingdom / type of visa required / date of entry and length of stay (in case, the length of stay exceeds over 30 days (including quarantine’s period) please provide
one copy of document as follows:

-       a valid Work Permit or a copy the Letter of Consideration of Work Permit   "Form WP 3",

issued by the Department of Employment, Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare of Thailand or

-        an approval letter from the Board of Investment of Thailand (BOI) or an   approval letter from the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT)

7. A copy of company’s registration documents stating the registered capital with equivalent amount of not less than 2 million Baht issued within six (6) months by the Ministry of Commerce of Thailand.

8. An original letter of recommendation from the current employer / company in Japan: PDF copy or fax is not accepted.
*The letter must have the company's letter head with company's seal and contains the applicant's name, purpose of visit to the Kingdom, length of stay, type of visa required, date of entry
, and signed by the authorized person(s).
** In the absence of letter of recommendation from the current company in Japan, an original guarantee letter must be presented, together with a copy of guarantor's passport or driving license which duly signed by the guarantor. 

9.An original bank statement, which shows a deposit constantly with the amount of not less than 500,000 Baht for the past 6 months from the date of visa submission. (applicant is also required to submit his/her own certificate of bank deposit).


(2) Persons who invest in condominiums in Thailand, have a Thai bank account or purchase a Thai government bond with the equivalent amount of not less than 3 million Baht

Required Documents

1. Passport: With validity of not less than 6 months and has at least TWO completely empty pages.
2. Application form: Completely filled in and signed by the applicant.

6. An original guarantee letter from the guarantor in Japan with a copy of the guarantor's passport or driving license duly signed by the guarantor.

7. An original bank statement, which shows a deposit constantly with the amount of not less than 500,000 Baht for the past 6 months from the date of visa submission. (applicant is also required to submit his/her own certificate of bank deposit).

8. A copy of title deed or ownership documents of the condominium owned by the applicant;
or
Evidence of money transmission and copy of bank book of the bank account in Thailand with an equivalent amount of not less than 3 million Baht;
or
Thai government bond with an equivalent amount of not less than 3 million Baht.



Additional documents for non-Japanese applicant
:
· A copy of residence card or certificate of alien registration which is valid for at least 3 months. For those who are currently applying for renewal of residence card, please submit a copy of acceptance of renewal issued by the Immigration Bureau of Japan. The applicant is also required to present the original documents of identification upon submitting visa application.
· An original of Japanese Residence Registration (JYUMINHYO)
· For applicants holding passports of Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Egypt, North Korea, Libya, Palestine, Sudan, Yemen, Cameroon, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Guinea, Algeria, China, India, Iraq, Lebanon, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Syria,Ghana, Central African Republic, Somalia, Sao Tome and Principe, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Saudi Arabia, please submit three (3) colour photos and three (3) copies of application forms which are duly filled and signed.
· For applicants holding passport of Nigeria and Iran, please submit four (4) colour photos and four (4) copies of application form which are duly filled and signed.


NOTES:

■ Applicant who will conduct a business must enter Thailand on the date specified in company letter.

■ The Embassy reserves the right to request additional documents as deemed necessary.and reserves the right to reject an application without providing any reasons.

■ In case that visa application is rejected, the application will not be refunded and submitted documents will not be returned to applicant.

■ Visa processing fee is 9,000 Yen for single entry. (CASH only)
