2013.11.16 Royal Thai Army Band joined Japan Self-Defense Forces Marching Festival 2013

Japan Self-Defense Forces Marching Festival is held annually and is open for general public.  In the past, only marches from Japan Self-Defense Forces and US Forces based in Japan participated.  This year was the first time that the Royal Thai Army Band joined the event, as the representative of ASEAN countries to commemorate the 40 th anniversary of ASEAN-Japan relations.

The Ambassador visited Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture

The Ambassador and his spouse attended the 25th Annual Kishiko International Concert

... Bunnag is the representative who will donate funds to the Foundation for the Blind in Thailand under the Royal Patronage of H.M. the Queen. Not only did the audience have an opportunity to donate to charity through this concert, they also had a pleasant time listening to music from many countries. In addition, Thai artists introduced a “Pin” (an Indian Lute), which is a musical instrument from the northern part of Thailand, to the audience and it was well received.

2013.07.14 Royal Thai Embassy promoted Thai culture at Kanda University of International Studies’ open day

... alphabet name writing.   The university’s students also performed Thai traditional dance and music. Kanda University of International Studies has offered Thai language course for 13 years and held annual university-level Thai speech contest for seven times now.  The contest gave students majoring in Thai a stage to show their Thai language ability.
