September 21, 2020, Government Spokesperson Anucha Burapachaisri disclosed that Prime Minister and Defense Minister Gen. Prayut Chan-o-cha presided over the 2020 annual meeting of National Economic and Social Development Board (NESDB), held at Impact Arena, Muangthong Thani, Nonthaburi province, to evaluate performances and accomplishments of the 1st phase of the Master Plan under the National Strategy (2018-2022), and the 12th National Economic and Social Development Plan. The Prime Minister also delivered a keynote speech on “The New Normal: Thailand in the Post COVID-19 Era”. Participating in the meeting were Deputy Prime Minister and Public Healthcare Minister Anutin Charnvirakul, Deputy Prime Minister and Energy Minister Supattanapong Punmeechaow, Minister of Digital Economy and Society Buddhipongse Punnakanta, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Varawut Silpa-archa, Minister of Labor Suchart Chomklin, PM’s Secretary General Dissathat Hotrakit, NESDB Secretary General Thosaporn Sirisumphand, government officials, and the media.
