The Certificate Presentation Ceremony for Thai Students’ Association in Japan under the Royal Patronage

On 16 April 2021, Ambassador Singtong Lapisatepun presided over the Certificate Presentation Ceremony for the 81st Executive Committee and Working Groups of the Thai Students’ Association in Japan under the Royal Patronage (TSAJ). Attendance also included Mrs. Saisarn Nagatsuka, Minister Counsellor (Education), Mr. Romdej Phisalaphong, Minister Counsellor, and Mrs. Pattamawadee Aueareechit, Consul, as well as representatives of the 82nd Executive Committee of the TSAJ.

On this occasion, the representatives of TSAJ have reported various TSAJ activities in the past year, including academic activities and projects to integrate Thai students across Japan, and a co-project with the Royal Thai Embassy in allocating Mitsubishi UFJ’s 100 million yen financial assistance to over 1,000 Thai students in Japan who were affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. The work plan of TSAJ’s 82nd Executive Committee for the upcoming year has also be presented. In this connection, Ambassador Singtong commended TSAJ’s 81st Executive Committee for the achievements and exchanged views on the future cooperation between the Embassy and the Association.

Also, Ambassador hosted a welcoming dinner for the representatives of the TSAJ who attended the saidceremony.
