ASEAN Ambassadors in Japan and representatives participated in Break Fasting Dinner during Ramadan 2021 and a welcoming dinner in honour of the new Ambassador of Lao PDR to Japan

On 23 April 2021, Ambassadors of ASEAN to Japan including H.E. Mr. Singtong Lapisatepun, Ambassador of Thailand, and representatives participated in a Break Fasting Dinner (Iftar) during Ramadan 2021 and a welcoming dinner in honour of Her Excellency Mrs. Phongsamouth Anlavan, the new Ambassador of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic to Japan, hosted by H.E. Mr. Heri Akhmadi, Ambassador of Indonesia at the Residence of the Indonesian Ambassador. This event is also aimed to strengthen solidarity and warm friendship among ASEAN. On this occasion, ASEAN Ambassadors and representatives exchanged views about COVID-19 situation, ASEAN cooperation and regional matters.
