Ambassador witnessed the MOU signing ceremony between the National Cancer Center Japan and the Thai Society of Clinical Oncology

On 28 April 2021, H.E. Mr. Singtong Lapisatepun, Ambassador of Thailand, together with
Dr. NAKAGAMA Hitoshi, President of the National Cancer Center Japan (NCC), Dr. Jinda Rojanamatin, Director of the National Cancer Institute of Thailand and other concerned authorities, witnessed the online signing ceremony of Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the National Cancer Center Japan (NCC) and the Thai Society of Clinical Oncology (TSCO) signed by Dr. SHIMADA Kazuaki, Director of NCC Hospital, and Associate Professor Dr. Ekaphop Sirachainan, President of TSCO.

The said MOU is aimed to strengthen both party’s collaboration on the research of Cancer under the Asian Clinical Trials network for Cancers (ATLAS). The National Cancer Center has chosen Bangkok as a venue for the NCC Asian Partnerships Office (APO) which will officially open in 2022.
