ASEAN Ambassadors exchanging views during the “304th ASEAN Committee in Tokyo Virtual Meeting”

On 4 June 2021, ASEAN Ambassadors including H.E. Mr. Singtong Lapisatepun, Ambassador of Thailand, participated in the 304^th ASEAN Committee in Tokyo (ACT) Virtual Meeting chaired by H.E. Mr. Jose C. Laurel V, Ambassador of the Philippines. During this ACT Virtual Meeting, Ambassadors of ASEAN Countries and representatives exchanged views on the COVID-19 situation in Japan as well as regional and global affairs. Taking the opportunity, H.E. Ambassador Singtong briefed the Meeting on the outcome of the telephone meeting between H.E. General Prayut Chan-o-cha, Prime Minister of Thailand, and H.E. Mr. SUGA Yoshihide, Prime Minister of Japan, on 9 April 2021 and the Thai Prime Minister’s participation in the 26^th International Conference on the Nikkei Future of Asia on 20 May 2021.
