The Royal Thai Embassy in Tokyo organized a series of online counseling lectures under the project “Methods to create happiness and enhance potentials for Thai people in Japan”

H.E. Mr. Singtong Lapisatepun, Ambassador of Thailand, presided over the Opening Ceremonies of a series of online counseling lectures by Dr. PrawateTantipiwatanaskul, Psychiatrist and former Medical Doctor (Advisory Level) from the Department of Mental Health, the Ministry of Public Health of Thailand. This online counselling aimed to promote self-creation of happiness in work and life, self-development for problem solving as well as stress relief to achieve work-life balance and happiness, particularly amid the COVID-19 crisis.

The said lectures were organized for 3 target groups as follows: Officials and staff members of Team Thailand in Tokyo, Osaka and Fukuoka under the topic of “Happiness in work and life amid COVID-19 crisis”, on 30 April 2021 with over 60 participants;

Thai volunteers from Thai Network in Japan (TNJ) under the topic of “How to help others with happiness”, on 29 and 30 May 2021 with over 40 participants; and

General public of Thai people residing in Japan including Thai students under the topic of “How to manage stress” on 5 June 2021 with over 40 participants.

In addition, the Royal Thai Embassy has organized and will organize online counseling lectures under the topic of “How to manage stress” during the Mobile Consular Services in Tochigi, Aichi and Nagano prefectures on 26 June, 7 August and 11 September 2021 respectively.
