Ambassador congratulates bronze medalist of Thailand in Tokyo 2020 Olympics

On 7 August 2021 Ambassador Singtong Lapisatepun congratulated Miss Sudaporn “Taew” Seesondee on winning a bronze medal for Thailand from Boxing – Women’s Lightweight (60 KG) at Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.

Ambassador Singtong expressed his sincere congratulations on Miss Sudaporn’s success that made a new page of history for Thai female boxing. This is the second medal Thailand won in this Games. Miss Sudaporn’s determination and perseverance inspired the whole nation to keep on fighting in the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic currently faced by Thailand and the whole world alike.

Ambassador Singtong also expressed his appreciation to Mr. Thana Chaiprasit, Chef de Mission of Thailand Olympic Team, for his utmost effort in accomplishing this Olympic mission and bringing the Thai team another step forward. He wished that all the athletes would be able to rest after this historical Games. He also pledged to continue to support the Thai national Olympic team as our national hero.
