Ambassador of Thailand welcomed Mr. HIRABAYASHI Kunihiko, Secretary General of the ASEAN-Japan Centre

On 6 October 2021, H.E. Mr. Singtong Lapisatepun, Ambassador of Thailand to Japan, welcomed Mr. HIRABAYASHI Kunihiko, Secretary General of the ASEAN-Japan Centre (AJC), at the Royal Thai Embassy. While Ambassador Singtong congratulated Mr. HIRABAYASHI on his assumption of duty since September 2021, they agreed to work closely and continue the enhanced cooperation between the Embassy and the AJC to foster ASEAN-Japan relations, especially in run up to the golden jubilee celebration of friendship and cooperation between ASEAN and Japan in 2023, Thailand’s role as Country Coordinator of ASEAN-Japan relations in 2021-2024, as well as the Commemoration of 135th Anniversary of Thailand-Japan Diplomatic Relations in 2022.
