President of Codomo Energy paid a courtesy call on the Ambassador

On 16 September 2021, Mr. IWAMOTO Yasunori, President of Codomo Energy, along with his management team, paid a courtesy on H.E. Mr. Singtong Lapisatepun, Ambassador of Thailand to Japan. Codomo Energy is a manufacturer of luna ware (light emitting ceramic) and a franchisee of Thailand’s Café Amazon.
Interestingly, the luna ware was brought to assist the lost boy group in Tam Luang cave in Thailand. Both sides exchanged views on the company’s project of installing luna-ware emergency signs at the main train stations in Bangkok and current business of Café Amazon in Fukushima Prefecture, which already has 2 branches. Café Amazon in Fukushima reflects a symbol of cordial and mutually-supportive friendship between Thailand and Japan, particularly during the Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami in Fukushima in 2011.
Moreover, the Ambassador shared about the project conducted by Team Thailand on promoting Thai coffee in the Japanese market. This includes a special issue of articles on Thai coffee, online seminar, business matching, creating online content on Thai coffee, and designing a map to show the spots of “Thai coffee in Japan” on which Café Amazon is also introduced.
