Ambassador attends Japan through Diplomats’ Eyes Photo Exhibition 2021

On 6 October 2021,H.E. Mr. Singtong Lapisatepun, Ambassador of Thailand to Japan, attended the opening ceremony of “Japan through Diplomats’ Eyes” Photo Exhibition 2021 at Roppongi Hills Café. The Exhibition this year was held under the theme of “Let’s Reconnect!” to reflect reconnection of people after having to keep social distance during the peak of COVID-19 pandemic.

The opening ceremony was graced by the presence of Her Imperial Highness Princess Takamado, who is the Honorary Chairperson of Japan through Diplomats’ Eyes Photo Exhibition.

“Japan through Diplomats’ Eyes” Photo Exhibition was initiated in 1998 under the Royal Patronage of His Imperial Highness Prince Takamado. For more than 20 years, the programme has continued to provide an excellent platform for furthering friendly ties and cultural exchanges between the diplomats stationed in Japan and Japanese society.

This year, Ambassador Singtong has assumed membership of the Executive Committee of “Japan through Diplomats’ Eyes” Photo Exhibition and took part in selecting the winning photos.
