The Royal Thai Embassy participated in the Robe-offering Ceremony at Chapphannarangsi Temple , Saitama

On 28November 2021, Mr. RomdejPhisalaphong, Minister-Counsellor, represented the Royal Thai Embassyin Tokyo in the Robe- offering Ceremony at Chapphannarangsi Temple, Saitama.

The Robe-offering Ceremony is an annual religious event where Buddhists present monks with yellow robes and make a merit. At this event, the Embassy offered the temple a donation along with Covid-19 protection equipment such as facial masks, antigen test kits and Oximeters. Moreover, the Embassy also provided the temple with health-caring hand books so that the temple can distribute them for Thai nationals living in the surrounding area.

The said Robe- offering Ceremony was attended by approximately200Thai and foreign Buddhists.
