The Ambassador welcomed the President of Japanese Association in Thailand

On 18 November 2021, Mr. SHIMADA Atsushi, the President of Japanese Association in Thailand, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Singtong Lapisatepun, Ambassador of Thailand to Japan. The President informed Ambassador Singtong of the Association’s activities in year 2020-2021 and exchanged views on promoting people-to-people bonds between Japan and Thailand.

The Japanese Association in Thailand was founded in 1913. It is the world’s oldest Japanese association abroad. The Association plays a major role in organising cultural activities and supporting the Japanese citizens living in Thailand.
