Kanagawa Prefectural Assembly Japan-Thailand Friendship League pays a courtesy call on the Ambassador.

Mr. SHIKIDA Hiroaki, Chairman of Kanagawa Prefectural Assembly Japan-Thailand Friendship League, and its members, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Singtong Lapisatepun, Ambassador of Thailand to Japan on 20 December 2021. Both sides discussed various areas of cooperation between Thailand and Kanagawa prefecture to further strengthen the ties at the local government level.

Both sides strongly hoped that when the COVID-19 pandemic subsides, Thailand and Japan will be able to exchange their visits, including at the Provincial-Prefectural Assembly level.

Kanagawa Prefectural Assembly Japan-Thailand Friendship League was established in June 2012, on the occasion of the 125^th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between Thailand and Japan. Mr. SHIKIDA was then appointed as the Chairman.
