Representative of the Royal Thai Embassy in Tokyo visited Mettadhama Temple, Ibaraki after the fire incident in the Temple's inventory storage

On 24 December 2021, Mr. Romdej Phisalaphong, Minister Counsellor, visited Mettadhama Temple, Ibaraki, to pay respect to Phramaha Chaweng Jaranathammo, the residential monk, after a fire incident in the temple's inventory storage.
The fire incident broke out on 18 December 2021 and damaged the temple’s equipment, food necessity, among others. Nonetheless, the Embassy has learned with relief that this fire incident did not cause any injuries.
On this occasion, Mr. Romdej offered daily necessities to the temple.
