Honorary Advisor of HOKUTO Bank and his delegation paid a courtesy call on the Ambassador

On 7 January 2022, Mr. SAITO Eikichi, Honorary Advisor of Hokuto Bank, together with Mr. OHMORI Sanshiro, President & CEO of OHMORI Construction, and Mr. KUMAGAI Takeo, General Manager of Hokuto Bank’s Tokyo Branch, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Singtong Lapisatepun, Ambassador of Thailand to Japan.
Mr. SAITO played a key role in founding the Akita – Thailand Friendship Association when he was the Chairman of Hokuto Bank. On this occasion, both sides discussed the close relations between Thailand and Akita through various activities held by the Akita –Thailand Friendship Association and cooperation during the 2020Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics in 2021. The discussion also touched upon potential cooperation on wind energy innovation which is in line with Thailand’s BCG Economy Model.
