Ambassador participated in the Diplomat’s Study Tour in Fukushima

On 13-14 January 2022, H.E. Mr. Singtong Lapisatepun, Ambassador of Thailand to Japan, and Ms. Pattarawan Na Nakorn, Counsellor, participated in the Diplomat’s Study Tour in Fukushima which was jointly organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan and Fukushima Prefecture. The said Study Tour aims to showcase the revitalization of the prefecture, promote the safety image of its agriculture products, and create awareness of Fukushima’s industrial potential and disaster preparedness measures. Ambassador Singtong, together with other members of diplomatic corps from 15 countries, visited several places such as the Great East Japan Earthquake and Nuclear Disaster Memorial Museum, the Fukushima Hydrogen Energy Research Field, the Fukushima Agriculture Technology Center, and the Fukushima Robot Test Field, etc.
