Kawasaki Frontale paid a courtesy call on Ambassador of Thailand

On 7 February 2022 a delegation from Kawasaki Frontale Football Club, led by Mr. YOSHIDA Akihiro, Vice President of Kawasaki Frontale, paid a courtesy call on His Excellency Mr. SingtongLapisatepun, Ambassador of Thailand to Japan.

On the occasion of welcoming ChanathipSongkrasin, a leading Thai football player, to the club, both Ambassador Singtong and Mr. YOSHIDA expressed their readiness to enhance cooperation to promote cultural exchanges and people to people contact between Thailand and Kawasaki City.It is hoped that after the COVID-19 situation improves, both sides will be able to exchange visits.

Mr.YOSHIDA, an incoming President & CEO in April 2022, was impressed by Chanatip’s performance in the AFF Suzuki Cup 2020 concluded earlier this year in Singapore. He wasglad that Kawasaki Frontale made the decision to sign him for the team.

The club’s first game of the upcoming season will bethe Fujifilm Super Cup 2022 match against Urawa Reds Diamond on 12 February 2022. Chanatip’s fans are looking forward to seeing him in the game.
