Thai food and beverage products showcased in FOODEX JAPAN 2022

On 8 March 2022, H.E. Mr. Singtong Lapisatepun, Ambassador of Thailand to Japan, joined the opening ceremony of FOODEX Japan 2022, Asia’s large-scale food and beverage exhibition as well as business matching, at Makuhari Messe Exhibition Center, Chiba Prefecture. After the ceremony, the ambassador visited the Thai Pavilion consisting of 26 booths of Thai related products. Sample products from Thailand, together with Thai product samples imported by Japanese importers, have been brought to showcase by the Office of International Trade Promotion and the Office of Agriculture Affairs in Tokyo. Highlights are those related to food innovation such as insect-based food (Futurenaut and The Bricket), planted-based meat (Nithi Foods, Food and Drinks, and IMG Corporation), healthy food in various forms (Dajia and Cha Cha Thai), frozen/preserved food with advanced technology (Alchemist, S.Ruamthai, and Chantaburi Fruit Product)as well as the Royal Project Coffee.
