Ambassador hosted a thank you dinner for Thai artist – Mr. Apiwat Uaethavornsuk (Stamp)

On 16 May 2022, H.E. Mr. Singtong Lapisatepun, Ambassador of Thailand to Japan, and his spouse, hosted a thank you dinner for Mr. Apiwat Uaethavornsuk (Stamp), a famous Thai artist both in Thailand and Japan, and representatives from Avex Inc., in appreciation of their contribution in promoting T-Pop or Thai pop music in Japan.

Mr. Apiwat has taken part in a special performance in “T-Pop Stage Show: Special Episode with Thai Festival in Japan” concert, which was held online 15 May 2022 by the Royal Thai Embassy, aimed at promoting T-Pop to Japanese fans. He also had an impressive featuring performance with Sky-Hi, a Japanese artist from Avex Inc. in the concert.

Mr. Apiwat started his artist career in 2002. A number of his works won reputable music awards in Thailand. He also featured his songs with several Japanese artists, as well as many other artists abroad.

Mr. Apiwat took this opportunity to invite Japanese fans to watch archived VDOs of the Thai Festival in Japan 2022 on the Embassy’s SNS. He also prepared special gifts for Japanese fans who participate in the Embassy’s activity. In addition, he also invited everyone living in Japan to enjoy Thai food and Thai products that offer special deals in the Thai Festival until 31 May 2022.
