Ambassador and Chairman of Yamanashi Prefectural Assembly discussed mutual corporation in tourism and agricultural promotion

On 13 May 2022, Mr. SAKURAMOTO Hiroki, Chairman of Yamanashi Prefectural Assembly and his delegation paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Singtong Lapisatepun, Ambassador of Thailand, to promote Yamanashi Prefecture’s tourism and agricultural products such as grapes, peaches, cherries, and wine. Both sides exchanged views on mutual cooperation in tourism and agriculture, as well as possible public relations activities of Yamanashi Prefecture in Thailand. The ambassador also mentioned that the Thai Festival, which is held online throughout May this year, will help promote people-to-people relations between Thailand and Japan.
