Ambassador discussed ways to enhance friendship and cooperation in Akita Prefecture

On 19 May 2022, Mr. ITO Arata, President of Hokuto Bank and Mr. ISHII Tadanari, Chairman of Akita – Kingdom of Thailand Friendship Association, together with their delegation, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Singtong Lapisatepun, Ambassador of Thailand to Japan.
Both sides are pleased with close relations between the Embassy and the Association. They also exchanged friendly conversation about promoting cooperation in sports, culture and people exchange, as well as exchange of technology, such as wind energy, to enhance the economic relation at the local level.
