On 13 June 2022, H.E. Mr. Singtong Lapisatepun, Ambassador of Thailand to Japan, and Mrs. Porndee Lapisatepun, hosted a luncheon in honour of KhunyingPatama Leeswadtrakul, a member of the International Olympic Committee, Vice President of the National Olympic Committee of Thailand under Royal Patronage of His Majesty the King, Vice President of the Badminton World Federation, and the President of the Badminton Association of Thailand under Royal Patronage of His Majesty the King, and Dr. Somsak Leeswadtrakul, Advisor to the Executive Board of the National Olympic Committee of Thailand, at the Thai Residence.

During the luncheon, both sides exchanged views on various issues, including sports cooperation between Thailand and Japan. They also discussed ways to further promote Muay Thai in the international sports competitions.
