Mayor of Misato Town, Akita Prefecture, paid a courtesy call on Ambassador.

On 30 June 2022, H.E. Mr. Singtong Lapisatepun, Ambassador of Thailand to Japan, welcomed Mr. MATSUTA Tomomi, Mayor of Misato Town, Akita Prefecture.
Ambassador thanked Misato Town, which is the host town for Thai badminton athletes during the Tokyo Olympics, and for sending overwhelming support to the Thai athletes.
Ambassador hoped to pay the visit to Misato town in the near future, as for the earlier invitation extended by Mr. MATSUTA, in order to also have an opportunity to meet students in Misato who have forged close friendship with Thailand from the host town activities.
