Ambassador held discussion with National Institute of Technology executive on cooperation in human resources development

On 8 July 2022, Mr. INOUE Mitsuteru, Senior Executive Director, National Institute of Technology (NIT), and his delegation paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Singtong Lapisatepun, Ambassador of Thailand to Japan, to report on the progress of the Thai KOSEN Project and to strengthen cooperation with the Royal Thai Embassy.

Ambassador Singtong reiterated the Embassy’s strong support for the project. The Thai KOSEN project is highly valued by both Prime Ministers of Thailand and Japan as it aims to enhance Thailand's Human Resources to promote the country’s development goals as well as to respond to the needs of Japanese private sector. As the 60^th anniversary of KOSEN is approaching on 16 November this year, NIT plans to invite Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation of Thailand and the Ambassador to join the celebration.
