Ambassador welcomed director and actresses from the film "The Medium"

On 29 July 2022, H.E. Mr. Singtong Lapisatepun, Ambassador of Thailand to Japan, hosted a welcoming luncheon for the director and actresses from the movie "The Medium" to express an appreciation for playing an important role in promoting Thai culture and beliefs to Japanese people through their film.

The luncheon was attended by Mr. Banjong Pisanthanakun - the Director, Ms. Sawanee Utoomma and Ms. Narilya Gulmongkolpech - lead actresses, and representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand and the Thai film studio “GDH559”.

The Embassy supports the promotion of Thai movies and creative works of the Thai entertainment industry in every field among Japanese people. Recently, the potential of Thai movies, dramas and music has become much stronger and has been widely recognised at several international stages.
