Ambassador attended the 50th Anniversary Celebration of JTECS

On 9 September 2022, H.E. Mr. Singtong Lapisatepun, Ambassador of Thailand to Japan, attended the 50^th anniversary celebration of the Japan-Thailand Economic Cooperation Society (JTECS) held at the Royal Thai Embassy Hall. More than 80 people joined the event, including
Mr. UCHIYAMADA Takeshi -Chairman of JTECS, Mr. KIMURA Satoshi - Director-General of Trade and Economic Cooperation Bureau, METI,Mr. SUGIURA Seiken -former Minister of Justice of Japan, Mr. Panuwat Triyangkulsri - Deputy Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Industry of Thailand, Mr. Prayoon Shiowattana - President of Technology Promotion Association (Thai-Japan), and Assoc. Prof. Krisada Visavateeranon - President of Thai-Nichi Institute of Technology, and representatives from renowned Japanese companies.

JTECS is an association established to promote industrial development cooperation between Japan and Thailand. Members comprise of more than 100 companies investing in Thailand. JTECS is also a founding sponsor of the Technology Promotion Association (Thai-Japan) and the Thai-Nichi Institute of Technology in Thailand.
