Ambassador hosted a congratulatory dinner for the Honorary Consul-General of Thailand in Nagoya.

On 14 September 2022, H.E. Mr. Singtong Lapisatepun, Ambassador of Thailand to Japan, and Mrs. Porndee Lapisatepun, spouse of the Ambassador, hosted a congratulatory dinner for Mr. MIWA Yoshihiro, Honorary Consul-General of Thailand in Nagoya, and Mrs. MIWA Keiko, his spouse, on the occasion of being bestowed the Royal Decoration of Commander (Third Class) of the Most Noble Order of the Crown of Thailand.

The Royal Decoration is in recognition of Mr. MIWA’s dedicated efforts and continued cooperation to promote friendly relations between Thailand and Japan in his capacity as the Honorary Consul-General of Thailand in Nagoya for the past five years

On this occasion, Mr. Miwa expressed his deepest gratitude to His Majesty the King of Thailand for the conferment of the Royal Decoration. He reaffirmed his determination to further perform his duty as Honorary Consul-General at his best.
